❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Is the camera aerodynamically noticeable or does it cause wind noise? No. Unlike externally mounted action cams, the 4K camera of the Sena Phantom Cam is flush and seamlessly integrated into the chin area. As a result, the helmet’s aerodynamic lines are fully preserved, and no additional wind noise or distracting turbulence is generated.

What is the purpose of the integrated LEDs? The Phantom Cam features innovative LED lights on the helmet shell. These act not only as position lights for better visibility at night but also function as intelligent brake lights that actively warn trailing traffic when you decelerate.

Which Pinlock visor is included? The helmet comes with the absolute premium variant, the Pinlock 120 XLT anti-fog lens. This offers the highest level of fog-free performance currently available on the market – even under the most extreme weather conditions.

How long does the battery last when recording and communicating? The powerful battery offers up to 35 hours of pure talk time for intercom use. If the 4K camera and the Mesh network are used intensively at the same time, this duration decreases accordingly, but easily lasts for extensive day trips. The system is fully charged in just 2.5 hours.

Do I need a cable for updates? Thanks to the integrated Over-the-Air (OTA) function and WiFi connectivity, the helmet no longer requires a wired PC connection for software updates. You can easily install the latest firmware via the Sena app.
