❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Can I legally ride the Outrush 2 with the chin bar flipped up? Yes. The helmet features official P/J dual homologation. This means it is strictly tested and legally approved for road use both as a closed full-face helmet and as an open-face jet helmet with the chin bar securely locked in the upright position.

What exactly is the Wave Intercom™ technology? Wave Intercom™ is Sena’s latest network-based communication technology (VoIP). It utilizes your paired smartphone’s mobile data connection to enable unlimited range and participant numbers—perfect for when your riding group stretches out on a long tour.

How long does the battery last on a motorcycle trip? The battery provides a generous talk time of up to 20 hours. Additionally, the intelligent auto-standby function automatically conserves battery life as soon as the helmet is taken off and remains inactive.

Is the visor protected against fogging? The main visor is factory-prepared for a Pinlock 70 lens. By installing this insert, an insulating dual-pane effect is created, effectively preventing the visor from fogging up in rain, high humidity, or cold temperatures.
