The John Doe Rover in deep black cleverly disguises itself as a classic, everyday leather boot—but beneath the surface, it’s a fully-fledged motorcycle boot engineered for maximum safety on the road. This model combines 1.1 mm thick, abrasion-resistant vintage cowhide with extremely durable XTM Fiber® to guarantee optimal protection.
Safety is paramount, thanks to the integrated Threepoint Protection, which heavily reinforces the ankle, heel, and forefoot. A real highlight for frequent riders is the special leather shift pad, giving you extra grip when shifting gears while protecting the boot's leather from wear. Thanks to the clever Waterstop tongue and water-repellent finish, your feet will stay dry even if you get caught in a sudden downpour.

Do I have to lace the boots every time? No! The John Doe Rover features a convenient Easy Entry YKK zipper on the side. Lace the boot once to your preferred fit, and from then on, simply use the zipper to slip them on and off effortlessly.
Are the Rover boots suitable for rainy weather? The 1.1 mm vintage leather is treated to be water-repellent. Combined with the special construction of the Waterstop tongue, the boot effectively prevents water from quickly seeping in during a shower.
How is the sizing? The Rover generally fits true to size. Since premium cowhide softens and molds to your foot over time, we recommend ordering your regular shoe size.
