❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Does the matte black and red finish require special care? Matte finishes require slightly more attention to maintain their sleek look. We recommend wiping the helmet regularly with a damp microfiber cloth and mild soapy water. Avoid aggressive cleaners or standard motorcycle polishes, as these can add an unwanted glossy shine to the matte surface.

Is the Germot GM 811 comfortable for riders wearing glasses? Absolutely! The internal cheek pads are ergonomically shaped and feature dedicated grooves so that your glasses slide in easily and sit comfortably without pressing against your temples.

Which Pinlock lens fits this helmet? The main visor of the GM 811 is prepared specifically for the Pinlock® 70 anti-fog insert. Once installed, it creates an insulating dual-pane effect that stops your visor from fogging up in cold or highly humid weather.

Can I install my own Bluetooth intercom system? Yes. The helmet features integrated speaker pockets and routing channels, making it fully prepared for popular aftermarket communication systems like those from Sena.

How do I clean the inside of the helmet? The entire skin-friendly inner lining, including the cheek pads and crown pad, can be easily detached using a simple snap-button system. You can hand wash them with mild soap to keep your helmet completely fresh.
